I am a Hedonist. I seek pleasure as a path to the righteous and good. Yes, this includes food, drink, travel, and elements of luxury. It also includes the discomfort you feel when doing the right thing; no matter the cost. For me Hedonism is a feeling, not of indulgence, but of the moment. That moment that leads to an ephemeral happiness. Happiness is not a permanent state of humanity; rather it is a passing time, a frame of the moving picture. The idea of Good/Right is too broad a concept to paint on a canvas, use only one ideal, or choose a path. Hedonists aspire to pleasure. I seek to capture those moments with words.

I have traveled some. I will travel more, as time and life allows. In that space between–I breathe and write.
